“Shelter” / “Me faz abrigo” is a piece about finding our safe-hiding spots through caos. Even when taking unknown paths, the colours and familiar shapes of my art guide me. This is a vibrant, spontaneous and colourful 100×100cm painting, inspired by the beautiful streets, the carnival and the amazing memories that I have from my youth time in the old town of Recife, Brazil.
